Artist's Description
While enjoying a perusal through the hundreds of absolutely stunning photographs taken by the Hubble telescope, I began envisioning how cool it would be that after my time is done on this earth that my spirit be able to fly around in space and see some of the millions of celestial wonders that God has created.
About Bruce Nutting
My name is Bruce Nutting and for the first 55 years of my life, I got my masters degree, was a missionary and developed computer database programs. As it turns out my life had a lot of stress and in 2009 I retired. It was at that time, with the encouragement of family and friends, I embarked on my retirement "career" as digital artist. With that said, I went out and bought the finest touch screen computer I could find at that time. Since then I have studied from many professional fine artists and have read, seen & listened to hundreds of hours about painting as well as practiced digital painting and creating. One of the things that really encourage me the most is looking at the first paintings I did and the digital art I create now....

I absolutely love NASA's images from the Hubble telescope. I have spent hours just gazing and meditating about the infinite wonders of all that God has created. We are so, so small when compared to our immense universe and yet, when I think about how God created everything for us to enjoy, I am truly awed with all the beauty, uniqueness, similarities and differences. I have even wondered if we will be able to "fly" throughout the galaxies to actually see in person some of these wonders, when we get to heaven. This piece of digital art started from one of the Hubble's photographs and I digitally painted this piece while enjoying on of those photographs. Blessings
