I really like this painting. It is of a pueblo in Spain near Malaga called Alora. Almost all of the small villages are white washed or painted white because the southern part of Spain gets very summer during the summer. Upward to 120 degrees in the middle of the day. I understand the buildings are to help reflect the heat from the sun. I really miss Spain.

PS the stars are not random. The were recreated from an online star charting program for the country of Spain.
